The Ability Tree is made up of various disciplines. Each discipline contains a core set of abilities, which must be in memory before dependent disciplines are available, and a set of optional abilities.
You can access the ability tree in the loading area or from any hardline and you can view it while interacting with vendors or signal boosters. When you load abilities into your memory, you choose them based on the ability tree hierarchy: abitilites are only available if you have memorized all their pre-requisite abilities.
